My goodness, where do I even begin? How do I start telling you about the each incredible detail of this absolutely amazing trip to Uganda and Tanzania? I came home with over 12,000 photos and videos which took me all my waking hours over the first four days I was home to review and edit - deleting about two thirds of them while battling jet lag. I have shared only the bestest of the best.  It took me a further three weeks during all the spare time I could muster, to write the following 17 posts in this Africa: July 29 - Aug 20, 2022 s eries. The African water spirits blessed Tanzania with more than 1424 km of coastline, dusted with white powder sands, kissed by the African sun and lapped by azure waves. So a post-safari beach trip was definitely in the cards. Zanzibar might be one of the world’s most famous, exotic archipelagos on the planet. The island is located around the equatorial region and gets warm, sunny weather most of the time, perfect for getting your tan on. Ras Nungwi, is a large village located in the far northern end of the island of Zanzibar. With a population of about 5,563, Nungwi is the second- or third-largest settlement on the island. Traditionally a fishing village and dhow-building centre, it is now a popular tourist destination, and was recognized in CNN’s list of 100 best beaches of the world in 2014 & 2017.
