July 14 - Hope Mountain

Image
This weekend in metro Vancouver is going to be a scorcher, with Saturday reaching 31 degrees in the Valley.  We knew the only way to survive it  (besides going to an airconditioned store and spending more money) was to get up into the mountains where it was cooler and the views spectacular.  Definitely my kind of day! A few weekends before that I had to replace the Black Diamond pack I purchased, and used on our Vancouver Islands trip, with this amazing pack .  The BD pack just did not fit me very well, causing a lot of shoulder and nerve pain in my elbows.  So weird! Anyways, with the recent new pack purchas...
